Four-tier Safety Design

1. Full-system Redundancy (Backup for Core Components)

   The rocket is equipped with 9 parallel engines. If one engine malfunctions, thrust will be redistributed within 50 milliseconds to maintain stable flight.

   Triple redundancy is adopted for control, navigation and communication systems — one backup set will take over immediately if another fails.

   Dual oxygen supply, dual power supply and dual environmental control systems are deployed to ensure independent operation throughout the flight.
2. Full-phase Escape System (Operable from 30 minutes before launch to touchdown)

   The crew capsule is fitted with a solid rocket escape tower, which can jettison the capsule away from hazards in 0.2 seconds.

   The capsule itself serves as an independent escape module, capable of separating and deploying parachutes for return at any flight stage.

   It adopts a multi-parachute system plus airbag buffering technology similar to China's Shenzhou spacecraft, including main and backup parachutes, landing airbags and retro-rockets.
3. Structural & Thermal Protection (Withstands re-entry temperature up to 1800°C)

   The capsule is built with titanium alloy and carbon fiber, featuring excellent heat and impact resistance.

   The windows adopt a three-layer structure consisting of tempered glass, polycarbonate and anti-fog coating, providing protection against micrometeoroids and extreme heat.

   The thermal protection layer dissipates heat via ablation to endure the peak re-entry temperature of 1800°C.
4. Ground & Flight Tests (Dozens of unmanned test flights to be completed before 2027)

   As of May 2026, tests including first-stage recovery impact, stage separation and high-altitude recovery flights have been completed with partial success.

   Dozens of unmanned flights are scheduled from 2026 to 2027 to simulate extreme conditions such as single-engine failure, propulsion malfunction, attitude loss and escape system activation.

   As stated by the company chairman: "This is a round trip, not a one-way journey. We will verify all potential risks before the maiden crewed flight in 2027."
